Prolotherapy
ARE YOU IN PAIN?
Find Out How You Can Obtain Sustained Healing and Relief
Back, neck and joint pains usually originate in damage to ligaments and tendons. (Ligaments are the tissues which attach one bone to another over a joint; tendons attach muscles to bone.) These are highly pain sensitive structures which are not usually revealed by CT or MRI scans. However, when damaged, they are sensitive to pressure or stretching.
Inflammation is the normal healing process of the body. Therefore, the use of anti-inflammatory treatments like NSAIDS or cortisone actually retards the healing process and may cause significant deterioration of ligaments, tendons and cartilage.
Prolotherapy is long established and highly successful in healing damaged tissues and producing sustained reduction in pain. The basic principle is to use injections to develop an inflammatory response in the damaged area. The induced inflammation does the miracle work of healing of damaged tissues and reducing pain. Prolotherapy has been used successfully in multiple painful conditions, including pain in the back, neck, joints (hips, knees, ankles, feet, shoulders, elbows, wrist and hands), whether due to arthritis or injury.

What Do My Patients Say About Regenerative Injections?
"
"Within two weeks, there was a considerable reduction, almost total reduction, of the headache pain, especially the referred pain to the forehead region. After only two sessions of injection procedures, several months apart, my pain, at times, is almost gone. I am immensely grateful to Dr. Sinoff and his staff for their skill, their concern, their top-notch care and wonderful results." (Daniel E.) "I have had back pain for the last 16 years. I tried aqua therapy, massage, trigger point injections, heat therapy, you name it. I spoke to a woman who had shoulder pain and couldn’t even move her arm, she swore by Dr. Sinoff’s injections. I was never able to let Dr. Sinoff even press on my back or my muscles during an examination due to soreness. When you are in as much pain as I am every day you will do anything to get out of the pain. There was a difference after the injections, I am still sore but I can handle pressure on my back and my muscles." (Nanette P.) "I was in an automobile accident in 2004 and had major damage to my right ankle and foot. I was seeing another physician but failed to get any benefit from his procedures or therapy. That’s when I came to Dr. Sinoff and he recommended prolotherapy. Before I had the injections I could not drive a car and had very little mobility. Now I play football with my children and can stand for a longer period of time. After only 4 injections I really noticed a difference and could drive again. I would highly recommend Dr. Sinoff’s prolotherpy." (Sydney W.)
Initially I was unable to even let anyone touch my shoulder let alone move it myself. I tried the injection procedures and have successfully regained enough movement so that things like combing my hair, brushing my teeth, and taking a shower have become progressively easier. Dr. Sinoff and his staff were very compassionate when giving the injections." (Patricia C.)
"Due to a work related injury in 1985 where my boot got caught in a pallet I fell and injured my right knee and hip. I have been through it all. I’ve had 6 knee surgeries, cortisone shots, TENS units and tons of physical therapy. Worker’s Compensation would not approve the injection procedures Dr. Sinoff has performed on me. I have had to self pay for all of them. There is a definite improvement to my knee and hip since receiving the injections. I have experienced great pain relief, sometimes lasting up to a month or longer. I would recommend this procedure to anyone, even people who have had numerous surgeries like me." (Dallas R.)
