Meet the Chiropractic Physicians

DR. AMY GAY

Dr. Amy Gay is a 2004 graduate of the National University of Health Sciences, in Lombard, IL. She is originally from Windsor, Ontario, Canada where she attended F.J. Brennan Catholic High School and graduated with honors. While in high school she participated in volleyball, soccer, track and field and cross-country and was also an active member of Student Council. Dr. Gay completed her undergraduate work at the University of Windsor where she attained a Bachelor’s degree in Human Kinetics and volunteered at the University’s Cardiac Rehabilitation Program.

While at NUHS, Dr. Gay was an active member of student council, Vice President of the Lambda Chi Sorority, soccer coach, and teaching assistant in the departments of anatomy and chiropractic technique. She completed her internship under Dr. Leroy Mathews at Salvation Army Rehabilitation Center with a focus on primary care. Being the patient’s only access to health care, Dr. Gay both diagnosed and treated all types of Musculoskeletal injuries as well as clinical diagnosis of various illnesses. Her experience in this type of clinical setting has taught her that taking a complete and thorough patient history, and performing a detailed and structured physical examination is the key to initiating good patient relationships.

After receiving her Ohio State license, Dr. Gay worked in an office in Mayfield Heights, OH and then joined the Euclid Chiropractic office in October 2006.

DR. NICK HADZIMA

Ohio Licensed & Bureau of Workers Compensation Certified, DR. NICK HADZIMA was born and raised in Euclid, Ohio.  He graduated from Euclid Senior High School in 1977.  He attended Ohio State University and was a pre Dental student.  He injured his low back while performing Ukrainian Folk dancing and sought care via the traditional medical route. To no avail after five months of minimal results, he sought chiropractic care with outstanding results. So impressed with chiropractic he then switched his undergraduate studies to become a chiropractor.  He further went on to National College of Chiropractic in Chicago; now know as National University of Health Sciences. He graduated with a degree in Human Biology and Doctor of Chiropractor.  After graduating in 1985 he worked in the local area for various chiropractic offices.  In 1993 he completed 360 hours leading to a Diplomat status in Neurology earning the degree as a Diplomat American Chiropractic Academy of Neurology (DACAN).  With this accomplishment he perused employment with the Bureau of Workers' Compensation of the State of Ohio while running a private practice treating Personal Injury and Workers' Compensation patients.  While employed for the Bureau during 1994 until 2001, he performed independent medical exams, file reviews and opined on Advanced Dispute Resolution (ADR) cases.  His experience with treating injured workers and personal injury cases spans over two decades.
 
Some of Dr. Hadzima's professional personal accomplishments include being the personal chiropractor and touring with the well know musical group "Fleetwood Mac" in seven cities in the Midwest in the early 1990's. He was also employed, as a chiropractor, by Belkin Productions of Cleveland, Ohio. He was very vital in treating many well known musical groups and crew members through the 1990's that came through Cleveland. In addition to volleyball being his favorite sport, he was part of treating professional volleyball players (AVP) in Cleveland and various Midwest City tournaments.  He also performed Ukrainian Folk dancing with the world renowned "Kashtan" group from Parma, Ohio that has won competitions around the world and was their personal chiropractor.
 
Dr. Hadzima gave up his teaching position as an Anatomy and Physiology Instructor at Sanford Brown Institutes Massage Therapy program in Middleburg Heights, Ohio to become part of our team to help injured patients get well.  His understanding, philosophy,  and dedication to providingthe best care for our patients is first and foremost as a chiropractor through bedside manor, nutrition, rehabilitative exercises spinal and extremity manipulation, x-rays and listening.

 


DR. TIMOTHY T. MOORE

PERSONAL:

Dr. Moore was born and raised in Centerville, Ohio. He graduated from Centerville High School in with honors, while having a varsity letter in both tennis and diving. He continued his education at the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana, where he majored in biology and minored in chemistry. He then graduated with a bachelors degree in biology. Dr. Moore then attended the National College of Chiropractic, now know as the National University of Health Sciences. He attained his second bachelors degree in human biology, and ultimately graduated, as salutatorian of his class, magna cum laude with a doctorate in chiropractic. After graduating, he received his Ohio State Chiropractic License and began practicing at Euclid Chiropractic and Therapy Center in Euclid, Ohio.

With the utmost concern and compassion for his patients, Dr. Moore strives to provide excellent care as well as proper management of his patients injuries. He utilizes his expertise in chiropractic therapy, manipulation, and rehabilitation, in order to return his patients to optimal health. Dr. Moore is educated and experienced in rehabilitation and physical therapy, x-ray diagnosis, nutrition, as well as pediatric chiropractic therapy. Dr. Moore is certified in workers compensation, and specializes in work and automobile injuries.

DR. JAMES G. O'REILLY

DR. JAMES G. O’REILLY was born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio. He grew up in a large family and has four brothers and four sisters. He graduated from Canfield High School with honors, while having Varsity letters in football and wrestling. He continued his education at Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH where he studied Biology and was a varsity member of the cross country team.

He graduated from Youngstown State University with a major in Biology and minors in both Chemistry and Physics. Dr. O’Reilly then attended Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, MO where he graduated with his doctorate in chiropractic. He has practiced in Ohio since 2001.  Dr. O’Reilly practices with the goal to eliminate the patient’s pain and then to keep the patient healthy through nutrition, exercise, and chiropractic, so that you just don’t feel better, but you are better permanently because you are healthy. Staying healthy allows the patient to achieve all of the goals that are important to them.

DR. AMAR SIDHU

DR. AMAR SIDHU is a 2005 graduate of Western States Chiropractic College, in Portland, Oregon. She attended workshops and seminars throughout school including Myokinetic therapy, Orthotics, Soft tissue therapy and Minor surgery workshops and Annual Symposiums. During her final year at Western States she completed her internship with Dr. Roberts in the outpatient clinic and at the West Burnside Clinic where lower income families were treated. 

Dr. Sidhu worked as an Associate in Portland, Oregon after receiving her Oregon State license. Dr. Sidhu treated patients of all ages including geriatric and pediatric patients. She conducted posture correction through heel lifts and orthotics. Her experience and outcome with patients has taught her the importance of educating patients on rehabilitation, exercise, proper posture techniques, ergonomics and nutrition in order to reach optimal patient care. 

She moved to Portland from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada where she went to Tamanawis Secondary School. She then attended Simon Fraser University where she received a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiolgy. During this time she volunteered at Peace Arch Hospital's Elder Health Out-patient Programs and Cardiac Rehabilitation Program.

DR. JUSTIN C. WIRICK

Dr. Justin Wirick is a graduate of the National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois. While at NUHS, he served as class vice president, was a member of the Phi Eta Sigma fraternity, and worked as a teaching assistant in the chiropractic technique courses. He was awarded Dean’s List and the Gear scholarship as a student in the doctor of chiropractic curriculum. While completing his clinical requirements, Dr. Wirick worked as a chiropractic assistant for Dr. Richard Dietzen of Montrose Chiropractic Center in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Wirick fulfilled his clinical requirements at Chicago General Health Services, under the direction of Dr. David Parish.

In addition to a Doctorate in Chiropractic, Dr. Wirick also earned a degree of Bachelor of Science from the National University of Health Sciences, and a Bachelor of Arts from Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio, where he attended undergraduate studies. He is also certified in kinesiotaping, a method of correctional taping that aids in the function of muscles that have been injured or are not working properly due to postural defects. With this technique, he has treated conditions ranging from muscle sprains to migraine headaches. He has also participated in the 100-hour Applied Kinesiology course while attending NUHS.

Dr. Wirick grew up in Canton, Ohio with his mother and two brothers. He attended Perry High School, where he was a member of the National Honor Society, as well as a member of the Perry football and track and field teams. His older brother, Nathan, is a graduate of the Ohio State University Pharmacy-Doctorate program, and currently resides in Columbus, Ohio. His youngerbrother, Adam, is currently pursuing his master’s degree at Ashland University in order to become a high school teacher.

 DR. DAVID A. COPP

Dr. Copp completed his pre-med program at the University of Wisconsin in 1980. He then attended Northwestern Health Science University in Minnesota, graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic and became licensed in 1985. Through Northwestern Health Science University and the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners he achieved Certificates of Qualification in Clinical Practice, Radiology and Physical Therapy. In MN he was also a Certified Acupuncturist and licensed Independent Examiner for the State Board of Chiropractic.

Dr. Copp has over twenty years experience in full time private practice as clinic director of the Jordan Clinic. To more fully serve his patients, he converted his clinic into a multidisciplinary medical and chiropractic clinic and was the first chiropractor in Minnesota to be affiliated with a hospital.

Over the last 22 years Dr. Copp received many awards. He was elected District President of the Minnesota Chiropractic Association for two consecutive terms. Minnesota’s Governor appointed Dr. Copp to the State Human Services Department where he helped create state health insurance for people who had no insurance. Dr. Copp was appointed Board Director for the Minnesota Health Trust Fund, a patient advocate group. The American Back Society elected him to their Committee on Industrial Injuries and Occupational Health and Ergonomics. He was a Board Review Specialist & co-author of the Home Medical Advisor computer program with Stephen Schueler, MD. Dr. Copp was also a staff reviewer for Krames Neck and Back Health Publications.

To give back to his profession he became an Associate Clinical Faculty Instructor at Northwestern Health Science University from 1987 to 2008 and an Intern Instructor for the Medical Assistant Program at Bryman Institute from 2005 to 2008.

Dr Copp focuses on industrial and automobile injuries. In addition to treating patients, he feels rewarded by helping employees and employers. He was co-director for the Athletes In Industry Program for 3M and other large corporations where he trained employees in stretching programs and reducing work injuries. He attended postgraduate education and became a Certified Occupational and Industrial Health Consultant through Northwestern University, Palmer Chiropractic College, OSHA and the American Chiropractic Association. He received specialized training in the physics of automobile accidents and in the fundamentals of occupational health, ergonomics and industrial consulting. He works with business owners, occupational nurses, human resource directors, and other health care professionals to improve the work environment. He has special training in occupational safety, evaluation, and treatment of injured workers, developing preventative interventions and providing employee education. His education includes accident and injury prevention strategies and research driven specific methods for treating work injuries such as low back sprain, low back disc bulge, herniation and sciatica, neck and shoulder sprain, neck disc bulge and herniation, and repetitive disorders such as tendonitis, muscle spasms, arthritis and carpal tunnel syndrome. Dr. Copp has special training in methods to rehabilitate injured workers so they return to work safely and strategies for identifying and responding to employer and employee needs. He has also performed Department of Transportation (DOT) Physicals.

Dr. Copp believes in the philosophy of the Ohio Chiropractic and Physical Rehabilitation clinics. He became an associate to follow his passion of helping people achieve their optimum level of health by providing the finest quality chiropractic care and by teaching healthy lifestyle choices. Dr. Copp says, “My purpose since the first day I became a chiropractor is simple, to help as many people as I can and to enjoy doing it.” For hobbies you may hear Dr. Copp playing his guitar or see him driving next to you on his Harley!

DR. DAVID A. COPP

DR. ABE MEDLONG is a graduate of Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas. He gained a diverse education in treating various soft tissue injuries and utilizing correctional rehabilitation. He attended workshops in postural correction, myofascial release and nutritional supplementation, and participated in several chiropractic technique clubs. During his final year at Parker he completed his clinical internship under the direction of Dr. Richard Nunn.

Dr. Medlong owned and operated a chiropractic clinic in the heart of Chicago, Illinois. As a licensed Chiropractic Physician he treated a variety of patients from work related injuries to sports injuries and has treated patients of all ages. He incorporated postural correction using custom made orthotics and Chiropractic BioPhysics, a technique focusing on correcting postural changes and spinal curvatures. He is also certified in Active Release Technique, a therapy that aids in increasing flexibility, realigning injured muscle fibers and softening scar tissue formation.

He was born and raised in Parma, Ohio with his seven brothers and three sisters and has been very active in the community. He graduated from Cuyahoga Community College with an associates of arts degree in Parma, Ohio and from Calvary Chapel Bible College with a bachelors in biblical studies in Indianapolis, Indiana.
